Scope and Solace

I.
When I say that I love you more than anyone else in the world
I am not saying, "I am the very best at loving you."
(So far from it, actually.)
I am saying there is no one else above you in my heart.

II.
I look at you every day and am amazed all over again:
By your resolve
By your strength
By your intelligence
By your grace
By your resilience.

III.
There is no such thing as a person who is not captivated by you.

IV.
I do not even know what love is.
It was never taught to me.
But what I do know is that I never want to see one single weight on your heart.
