One Foot In

She's always been one foot in and one out, constantly on the edge of doubt.

She dreams big she's just not good at the follow through; always second guessing if its really good.

She wants to want something all the way through but in times of doubt that want becomes moot.

She tries to grasp it and hold on tight, the need to keep this love a desperate fight.

But she's a drifter never staying through the nigh; she's always been a whisper of wind that caresses your cheek on the way by. It's a struggle trying to plant roots when you were always meant to fly.
