The Lies

Everyone lies
Whether it is to your face or not.
We are lied to everyday
By those we love
And by those we hate
Who are we to believe?
Who is telling us the truth?
we must ask ourselves these questions.
We must find this out for ourselves.
The lies of today
The lies of yesterday
The lies of tomorrow.
You may say that
You are honest
But in truth
You are only lying to yourself
For we are all human
So we all lie.
