The Weight of the Cup
The question is not whether
the cup is half full or empty
but how long one can hold the cup
although the weight isn't heavy
hold it for a minute,
an easy task to do
hold it for 30
and start to feel blue
hold it for and hour
sweat falls from your head
hold it for a day
and your arm feels dead
replace the water with stress
and let the story reveal
hold on to that which worries you
and increased weight you will feel
to say, do not worry,
would be wrong and uncouth
but to say one should not contstantly worry
would not be far from truth
worry and let it go
especially when it is out of your control
stressing over that which you can not change
will lead to ones end before beginning the game
the cup is half full or empty
but how long one can hold the cup
although the weight isn't heavy
hold it for a minute,
an easy task to do
hold it for 30
and start to feel blue
hold it for and hour
sweat falls from your head
hold it for a day
and your arm feels dead
replace the water with stress
and let the story reveal
hold on to that which worries you
and increased weight you will feel
to say, do not worry,
would be wrong and uncouth
but to say one should not contstantly worry
would not be far from truth
worry and let it go
especially when it is out of your control
stressing over that which you can not change
will lead to ones end before beginning the game
