Kissing the Star

KISSING THE STAR

Perforating the distant sky
An arrow shoots off
Intending to hurt some faces
Blood gushes forth.

The fair star over ages
Although is lit in the sky
Played duck and drakes not the least.

Brewing own soul
Rendered fair good light
Is she herself enlightened?

Were she so luminous
Why did journey towards
An alley of darkness?

Still star is happy as star starry for ages
Strived for happiness
Happiness melted in thin air
Star! Who wants to be such a star
The arrow so runs
To rip her asunder
Shed her blood in profuse.

Star, well aware of the ugliness hiding her fair face
Applied cosmetics to gloss over weakness
Cosmetics with smell brought votaries
Didn’t she know cosmetics is foul
Yet under compulsive obsessions
Afflicted the soul.

This is why the arrow runs fast
To kiss the steller face
But what a misfortune
False sky stands to retaliate.
