A Knight's Vow

A sacred oath once forgotten
Of a knight and his dragon
He swore her , his heart be true
As was his words and he followed through
He fought for her with all the fire in his soul
Taking down men , beasts and trolls
As she guarded her knight with her icy might
Leaping in battle , with her wings she took flight
Though bonds be tested and walls crumbled
Words stayed strong even when hands began to tremble
A promise kept through the ages
As their story reborn into pages
Of a knight who swore his oath to a dragon
