Day Dawn Dusk & Eve

At dawn the day awakens
And all new life begins;
A whole new world of pleasures,
Adventures and of friends.

At day we grow and work and play
And learn so very much
That once we stop, we can’t go back
Must leave the past untouched.

At dusk we sit and talk about
All we’ve ever learned
To tell each person then and there
The sentiments we’ve yearned.

At eve we slowly close our eyes
So none may e’re look through.
We let our hearts just stop and rest,
Then bid our life adieu.
