Words Left Untold
When you lose yourself in the piercing words
You happen to find yourself stuck by the rusted swords.
You lose the person that you loved with in yourself.
Then you begin to feel lifeless one from everybody else.
You begin to wish things were different
You long for the reassurance from the arms that are supposed to protect and hold,
But all you get is ignorant inconsiderate devilish gold.
It possesses you ruins you for what they said
You believe what they had said was true instead.
So you hide, wrap your arms around yourself in utter fear
That no one will save you to bring you back to yourself before you disappear.
Within the darkness of the atmosphere
It's you that brightens my fears.
With my beating heart
Nothing will tear us apart.
Within my still unsteady breath
There will be no sudden death.
Within the darkness, it's you I must find
But until then I'm forever blind.
All you wanted was for her to say,” I love you”, and mean it
Instead of, “You’re a disgusting pig, I must admit!”
All you wanted was for her to listen
Instead of kissing disgusting men
You just wanted her home
Instead of taking care of a 15 year old alone
You went without food, paper towel, toilet paper
That’s right, instead, we used fucking newspaper!
All you wanted was for her to care about you and your sister
Instead of sleeping around with multiple misters.
You lost yourself in the darkness while trying to count the stars
You let your demons give you disheveled thoughts
Telling you she was right without afterthought
But it was deep in your thoughts you cried for yourself

Hi, guys!!!So, this poem is based on my ongoing battle between my mother and myself.
She kicked me out 2 months ago and still happen to get beaten down by her to this day.
So I decided to write something because especially today I felt defenseless.
I thought maybe some of you who are in kind of in the same boat or possibly struggling
with getting bullied could read this and say, "I'm going to keep on going".
Because honestly, I've been bullied by my own mother lol
As sad as it is but I still see that my future is bright and I hope every single one of you
know that you are beautiful and that just because someone gets you down, it just gives
you every right in the world to get back up and show them what you are about!
