Diet

You say I look sick now
And I don't know how
You think you put me in my place
Pointing out my sunken-in face,
But I'm not sick
I am fine, when I'm thin.
When I'm not eating
When I'm not sleeping
I am breathing in smoke
And gulping a diet coke
All that will go in my mouth.
Keep moving, you tiny mouse
Be perfect, be patient.
Find salvation in starvation.
I diet and diet
Trying to hide it
Trying to find the cure
For this misery I endure.
