To truly know a person, is to break infinite boundary
To truly feel what they feel, is to peer into the void they know not
To be what they need, it means to know what they want
But a benightedness comes to human essence

When you love someone, you lose yourself in them
When you lose yourself in them, you break their masquerade
And if they've become what you've needed,
You've forgotten what they've wanted

But perhaps you'll peer into their facade, see who they really are
And maybe you'll believe in what you've seen
The silhouette has faded, the luminous sun devours
But surely, the laws that govern will reverse

Time will move forward, even when the clock cracks
Your heart will ache, when you simply live for it to give
And those rays you once thought epitomized hope
The comfort of night nor day may save you

The you today will resent the you of yesterday and tomorrow
Yet all the same may you see no the end to sorrow
With all the stages set to success
What is there to fret but no replacement

Typically, I am wildly influence by rather simple or trivial things. This time, however, and probably for my next few poems, I'm driven by a resurface of the past.
