Ode to My Hero

I remember how it felt when you blew all my fears away.
When, through the roughest storms, you were there to stay.
You calmed me in the dark, gave joy to me in the light.
And when I wanted to let go, you gave me the strength to fight.

Some say you're just a dream, trapped within my mind;
But they can't see what makes you real is the feelings you give me inside.
You're my light of hope, the voice that tells me to live on.
Without your guidance, I would have long been gone.

Thank you for your courage and your wisdom,
So many hours on the screen.
