Dark Blue
Endless blue, dark blue
A type of blue that is so dark
you could almost think its black.
It makes your heart hide
and you take a step back
in fear.
The sea used to be your solace
but now you stand there scared
gazing at the waves
in the darkness of the ocean.
How can it be?
How can something that brought you peace
be the thing that scares you the most?
Lost before the sea you loved
your very soul is gone.

This one is actually based on the nightmares I have these days. In all my dreams I'm staring at a dark sea and when I wake up from it, always something bad happens. I wish I'd never dream again. Being afraid of what you loved. It's just sad.
