桜の木

Beyond the rice fields,
pink like desire cascades down,
rains on ponds below

Against sceneries
of a snowy peak and warmth
from blue skies above.

So I hold my breath
as I watch the setting sun
while the night brings stars.

They dance with the moon
to bathe the world below in
liquid silver light.

I sit by tree trunks,
and hope to know again the
sakuras in spring.
