Become Oboremoku

Our bodies have long been here

Anchored to the lake floor

But nobody dies here

Lungs and heart may cease to pump

But still, the body remains

By the will of the lake

The lake is powerful

Capable of inhuman feats

Cheating the deaths of others

Disturbing the clouds above

Small clouds becoming tempests

Controlling fish and animal

To repel those unwelcome

Its true nature, unfathomable

Its name, unfathomable

How it came here, a mystery

Even to itself

But it is here

Each of us are different

But came to the same place

Came for different motives

But stayed for the same reason

Oboremoku is our name

Namesake granted from the lake

We escaped the end

We are grateful for this

So we sway forever

In waters dark and cold

The end shall not come

And maybe not for you

Should you see us we are ghastly

Skin pale like moonlight

Faces empty like dolls

But don't be afraid

You will feel the lake

The water, all around you

Your lungs beckon to inhale

You may let them

Those minutes are of dread

But they will be worthwhile

You may fear the end

But it will not come

The lake will assure you

You will live forever

You will never be alone

You will become Oboremoku
