a few years ago
my cat rosie dissapeared
she was only two
we went on holiday
and when we came back
rosie was gone.

when she ran away
it broke my heart
she was my best friend.

i remember the way
she used to go out
the front door
meowing to get out
instead of the back door
with the cat flap
because Tyler my dog was
always in the garden.

why did you have to go,
we all miss you so.
the way you curled up
on the end of my bed
tickling my feet.
