Summer Romance

Spring has gone away
Summer has come our way

We'll meet somewhere just by luck at the start of our romance
We'll catch each other’s eyes from first glance

The game will go on for a while
The thing we'll do will make us smile

An impulsive kiss will start the flame
And we'll say that we'll never be apart again

We'll spend every minute in each other
When we're apart we'll say we can't live without one another.

The things we do will make us feel like love
The things we do will never be enough

But we'll pretend this love is real
And at some point we'll fake the way we feel

Then the day will come and we won't call
We both knew this would be falling by fall
