Soul
The road is long, but the soul doesn't mind
It's walking, running, from it all, leaving everyone and everything behind
The calmness of the sky, the whispers of the wind
The silence of the sirens, the search that no one sent
The coolness of the breeze, the kiss of the sun and the rain
The soul is upset, disappointed in what it become
The memories will fade eventally over the years
With the broken heart, the falling of tears
The screaming, bleeding hearts are all in the past
The soul needs to move, it wants to leave fast
The road gets longer, yet everything seems to know
That I'm watching my soul walk, relieved that it has finally just go.
