I don't want to be alone.

I can hear the sea calling me
and I so long to answer
But when I try to swim to it,
I can't escape my master.

I long to use my sonar, to chase after the fish
But all I have are the dead ones on a dish.

I long to ride along side
a boat so great and tall
But then I bump into
my concrete wall.

I long to se my parents
I long to see my friends
But when I swim towards them,
I come to a dead end.

I long to once again over power the sharks
But the most fearsome noise from an animal
I have heard is a dog that barks.

I long to swim in the cool blue sea
I don't want to be alone
But all I have is this concrete pool
That I call home.
