I wish I was Jean Jacques Rousseau

I am what I am
No one cares or knows
My friends they have forsaken me
The consumers of all my woes.

I am but thought and feeling
An emotion lost, never gained
At night the stars awaken
To an energy never tamed.

To those whose ambition rules heart,
To those too blind to see,
A dead love courses through these veins
An emotion rotten in me

For all thats lost and all thats gone
For those who shall never return
A darkness brief, a tear shed,
A grim lesson never to learn.
