Colored Blue

Falling and falling
Not at all complaining
Falling and falling
until their landing

Slowly, slowly,
the snow falls
Calmly, smoothly,
they create a blanket

Together, they rest
In piles and in rows
To create a white blanket
of white untouched snow

They cast a shadow
So pale and light
Not at all,
like a blanket of dark

So soft,
so pale,
the snow has
blue shadows

And now she too
resting, and hiding
under a blanket
of snow

Beautiful,
so beautiful
with round cheeks,
of pink

With closed eyes,
she sleeps,
her lips now,
colored blue
