Green Polish.

A two-faced creature:
Dead by day,
Alive at night.

A slave to the clock and tie,
Reheated meals
And hourly pay.
A clone of his peers,
A prototype for
A new marketing tool.

But at night his life begins.
A dreamer,
A poet,
An architect,
A rock god.
He decides his identity
And consumes everyone else’s.
For a few hour he is master.
He controls how others feel
And what they should think.

Master of the shadows
And all that is beautiful;
Slave of the economy
And all that is ordinary.
