Dancing With Fire

She lights the candle to brighten the room
All the while, humming a tune
The flame seems to dance and flicker on the wall
And soon, the wax will fall
The heat of fire, warms her face
It touches her lips, giving a spicy taste
She moves her arm too quickly
Then candle burns the floor
Fire is spreading swiftly
The girl starts to hurl
It's spreading quickly now,
To the sound of her voice
Trailing up her legs
It doesn't have a choice
Her screams are getting louder
The heat is getting hotter
She is now on fire
It's too late for water
Her screams are fading now
You can only hear her squirm
The fire is dead
Except that single flame
The one that made her learn
Finally, she is silent
The flame can finally rest
Everything turns dark again
It's the end of the deadly fest
Now you know to never challenge a flame to a dance
It will win with the first chance.
