A love lost.

Once before in a land not far away,
there was a maiden with a red beret,
She sat upon the dismal step and sang,
a gorgeous song of love and heart that rang,
throughout the township who stopped to listen,
and rang out through every bin and basin.
her song rose from the tower, big and tall,
shoating back and forth like a round pinball.
It flutteres back and forth beneath the eaves,
and it the tale of love it surely weaves,
of one and two who fell too far,
and how of one who wishes on a star,
For how the one
she had once loved, is lost.
and now her heart of ice she must defrost.
