The Best Day

The best day
started bad
not a good morning
the worst that I've had

Woke up late
Burned my meal
Later would be great
Until then I'd have to deal

After wasn't better
Missed the bus
Caught in bad weather
Teacher made a fuss

Roaches disguised as students
hissed as I cruise
To bash dents
to egos and souls to bruise

I then slumped
Almost to cry
Then it was you I bumped
While trying to pass by

We then hung out
for hours on end
Slowly disappeared my pout
and I felt angels descend

The best day
When I met you
I'm reminded with every kiss
that it was too good to be true
