Trapped
I'm walking calmly through the mist,
It billows out around me,
It cloaks me like a spider,
Hiding for eternity.
I'm searching, searching, confused and upset,
Where could it be?
I'm trapped in a cage,
Bluejay with a broken wing,
Searching valiantly,
For something.
Panic consumes me,
Now I am terrified,
Where is it?
Where could it be?
The bushes grow taller,
Or I am growing smaller,
I cower on the ground,
Panicing.
I crawl through the endless maze more and more confused.
Where is it?
I am terrified and I begin to run,
tears are falling.
I need it.
But then I stop in a sudden realization,
My eyes are big and wide,
Now I realize I was looking for nothing,
Or I was searching and it was gone.
I am quiet for a moment,
Standing in confusion,
Then I know I will never get out,
And this is where I scream.
It billows out around me,
It cloaks me like a spider,
Hiding for eternity.
I'm searching, searching, confused and upset,
Where could it be?
I'm trapped in a cage,
Bluejay with a broken wing,
Searching valiantly,
For something.
Panic consumes me,
Now I am terrified,
Where is it?
Where could it be?
