If You're Reading This Note

If you're reading this note

It's already too late

A form of my choice

Has sealed my fate

Tears won't be shed

Life will move on

People will sing

Their happy life song

Wherever I am

I don't want to be

My days were cut short

It's too late for me

It could have been stopped

If just for two words

If someone had said

My ears would have heard

My life would have changed

On that very day

In a much better way

Than it is today

Go on with your life

Don't think too deep

About the poor little girl

That ran out of tears to weep

If you're reading this note

I'm already gone

It's too late for me

I've already moved on

Here there's no silence

No sickness

No fears

And where the poor little girl

Can't weep any tears

She wanted to be the person she could

But no one believed that she really would

So now it's too late

But happy she sings

For the brand new life

And what happiness may bring.
