Mountain

Raining hard against my skin,
Pressure of feelings building up,
Crushing while on the run,
Climbing on my hands and knees,
Blood pouring from my heart shaped cup.

My tights full of ladders,
And hands peppered with grit,
Bitting my tongue as I crawl,
As people overtake me,
I fall as my body is a contagious fit.

I refuse to fall,
Not now under pains fountain,
I stand up and I run,
I run and I pounce until I fall down once more,
Into the arms of everyone on this Mountain.

I collapsed and they caught me,
Familiar strangers to my dreams,
They pull me to stand,
We stand together and stare,
At the world being dissolved,
Dissolved into it's soundless screams.
