Young Wild Things

With my ticket in hand
And chills going up and down my spine
Excitement shoots through my body
The second I hear everyone talking
And music blaring.

The lights go out and
Everyone screams, including me.
Cute Is What We Aim For
Takes the stage and starts to
Belt their lyrics out to
All of our sweaty and jumping bodies in the crowd.

The Plain White T's come next.
Bodies get pushed every which way.
The stench of sweat fills the air
But we don't care,
We keep jumping and screaming anyway.

A white microphone
And a new drum set is placed center stage.
Gym Class Heroes storm out
Entertaining and sharing
Their love through their songs.
Everyone continues
To jump and scream,
Knowing that in the morning
Their legs will be sore,
And their voices gone.

Drenched in sweat
That isn't all our own,
We still jump and scream
Like wild animals
The second Fall Out Boy
Makes their grand entrance.
Patrick since the amazing lyrics
Loud so everyone can here,
And Pete entertains by sharing stories,
Like how he broke his foot.

Heat radiated off of our bodies,
and energy flowed like never before.
By the time te concert was over
Everyone was tired, and worn out.
The walk back to the care
Through all the cold, feathery snow
Was a refreshing feeling,
And quickly cooled us down.

We got to the care,
And I was ready for a quick little nap.
As I laid my head
Against the back of the seat,
All I could think about
Was how amazing this night
Turned out to be
And I can't wait to do it again.
