You're Perfect

Why does nature always seem to bail?
When the bashful hearted have a date,
Maybe it's not such a complete fail,
But please don't tell me that it's fate.

Look in a mirror and try to wish,
Maybe you won't be so beautiful,
Maybe you'll get kindness served on a dish,
Then maybe your words won't be so hurtful

Tear my life apart like that stupid love letter,
Like the one the geeks sent you in grade nine,
Hopefully it can make you fashion problems all better,
But you've always been ridiculously fine.

Spare me the use of your brief remark,
It always seem to come out to the wrong direction,
But maybe your mind is always this dark,
It must be the newest idea for utter perfection.
