Death of the Moon

There is no light to shine upon Earth
Shadows have taken over
and have hidden the light away from us
Stars are scared
They hide from the shadows

There is no light
to guide us through the night
The sky is empty

As the shadows eat the moon
I wonder if I will ever see light again
and if I will ever dream again

The streets have darken
Trees tremble in fear
Light has been stolen from us
The moon is in agony

The sky is in mourning
for death of dreams and hopes

The wind brings rumors from the ocean
The ocean is scared too

The sky is lonely
There is no one left to play
The sky wants to cry
But there is not enough water
not enough tears

I gazed at the moon
It vanished with the wind
Shadows killed her.

An empty space was left in the sky
There is no moon to admire
And no light to ignite my memories

That is the story of the moon
The greatest tragedy
the sky ever witnessed

She was far too young a
Far too eager
No one could ever catch her
She belonged in the sky
not in the ground
But shadows came for her
to take away her beauty
To steal her light
