She Watches

Each day she watches

Though no one sees

the pain she feels

May bring her to her knees

She watches him cry

And morn the loss

Of what was never lost

The pain lessens

He mourns each day

and thinks of how she's gone away

the pain lessens more

He still cares

Then he meets her

Someone new

Who's nothing like the girl he once knew

The pain is back

Each day she watches
