Rain

Rain.
It's beautiful.
Wet globlets that fall from turbulent fluffs of grey fuzziness.
Or silky dashes that streak the glass of windows.
Slow motion droplets that disrupt a peaceful ponds smooth surface...
Blue,
Grey,
Green,
Black;
Each colour subtly hinting at something rainbow like.
BREAK!
The clouds part and in streams sunlight,
Dazzling the dulled eyes of those below,
Streaking through and shattering in a single prism drop.
Red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
Blue,
Indigo,
Violet;
Each colur reflected in a myriad of particles.
My love affair with the element leads me outside in the storm;
To be soaked with pure liquid delight.
Smiling, soaked and cold later,
But happy to have seized the moment.
The clouds disperse softly across the deepest blue sky imaginable,
Leaving me to wait for the next grey turbulence to flood my mind.
