That Fateful Day,At Columbine High

My name was Rachel,
I went to Columbine High,
Then one day two boys came to the school,
They had weapons and guns and hatred,
I prayed and prayed that we all would be safe,
I tried to escape but it didn't help,
God has taken me up home,
And now I run free in his never ending garden,
I feel no hurt or pain,
God has helped me in every way,
I do miss my friends and family,
but I know they will all join me someday,
Please do not weep for me,
I am in a better place,
away from all the problems to be,
I am free from all of that you see.

This poem is in memory of all the people who lost a loved
one on that grim April 20th,1999 in the Columbine shooting.
