Child Abuse
This poem is to signify the pain and sorrow that children feel,
When they are abused by their parents.
It happens in this world,
And it needs to stop.
She was happy,
She was loud,
She was simple,
She was proud,
She had a family,
She had friends,
They all loved her,
With no end,
But one day,
Everything changed,
Nothing was the same,
Nothing was matained,
Her mother was gone,
She had lost her life,
All because of a silly boy,
Who played with a knife,
Her father blamed her,
And began to drink,
Her happiness faded away,
She began to sink,
The alcohol level grew,
And her father become violent,
The tears fell from her eyes,
And she became silent,
Her father kicked,
Her father hit,
Her father screamed,
And began to spit,
In her face,
And called her a disgrace,
She shouted apologies,
She shouted for him to leave,
But instead he kicked her one last time,
And wished she would die,
So she lay there,
Broken inside,
Before her final breath came,
And she uttered goodbye.
