Haunting

Every day I see you
In my dreams, both day and night.
Your face - it haunts my every dream,
And clouds my very sight.
You haunt me without mercy,
With no tiny hint of shame.
But I no longer wish to play this role
In this endless haunting game.
Will you never let me rest,
Or sleep a dreamless sleep?
Or will face forever haunt me,
'Til sanity takes its final leap?
All I want is refuge,
And help in moving on.
I ask that all these dreams of you,
From me are ever gone.

You're haunting me.
Haunting.
Forever.
