Temporary Happiness

In the back of my mind
I've been thinking about the fake smile on my face
The endless pit of pain
The struggle to handle it all with grace
The feeling pf happiness
Will eventually fade
And it will only return
When it's far too late

Temporary happiness
Is like waiting for a knife
Stab it through me
I'll let you take my life
How can I sit back
And watch my life fall apart?
But there's nothing I can do
To repair a broken heart

The screams filling my ears
The blood stains on my walls
I'm living proof
Of the rise and fall
That happiness brought upon us all
Because it never lasts
They all end up
A broken memory in the past

So smile is you please
And when you go to sleep
May happiness fill your dreams
Because you might wake up
To see it's gone
When everything that could
Goes horribly wrong

There's no point in crying
Counting all the scars he made
Everyone knows
Those scars never fade
