Threshhold

I belong to a locket around my neck
I belong to these bright nights
I am pure within these empty walls
I am alone in the new light

I won't give a damn if they don't care
I'll walk down the opposite lane, just to hear everyone screaming
just to hear if they even know my name

I'm not going anywhere soon, in fact I won't be
gone for a while I guess the threshold of Southern Maryland rain
is keeping me walking in the Converse of denial
