Icy cold

My insides flaired,
I beleived that I would never see the sun again,
Nothing could heal me from the pain that had left scars,
Nothing could take those scars away,
I was utterly submerged in what I thought to be death,
Its Icy cold hands gripping me and pulling me,
away from the light,
away from the hope,
Away from my life.

When I thought nothing good would come,
I was wrong.
When I thought that it was permanent,
It wasnt.
The healing took an eternity,
but somhow,
only through a miracle,
something healed me,
and I was taken back by the beams of sunlight,
Breaking the surface of the water,
sending the Icy cold hands away.
