Change

The summer left our eyes as we scattered across the land
Our lips parted to say goodbye but I lost hold of your hand.
The seasons reflect us as we blossomed in the sun
But the autumn has come back again and the sun has gone.

And summer days that never felt so long
Are over now.
But I can still hear our summer song
But you are not awake anymore.

The heat was our demise as the rain came back tonight

Can we walk these streets again?
Because there was a terrible storm at the birth of this autumn
Maybe you could follow me down the road to next summer
Because the last one was washed away with the morose September rain
It’s far too hard for me, scenery blurs too fast, nothing remains
December is upon us and the ice cannot melt

I guess you could say there’s a breach of the seasons
But there’s no hurry to find the sun.
This equinox won’t leave our eyes,
The sun will be torn from the sky.

The heat was our demise as the rain came back tonight

The summer left our eyes as we scattered across the land
Our lips parted to say goodbye but I lost hold of your hand.
You can still be found and with your scent on my neck
I can break away and keep you for days.
