And Joy May End in Grief

A solo raven cries;
His echoes lost in the twilight
"Wherefore art thou my Love?
Where hath thee gone?
Why doeth thee hide behind a mask of decay?
Underneath the soil thine bones carode and rot away..."

"Why hath thou left me blind?
For, no longer can I see thine beauty
And oh, how I long to see thine beautiful face
Alas
Alas, the elements hath destroyed the body that I had once loved so deeply
Only I pray
That the soul that owns all of me escaped."
Even as the sun faded from the sky;
The raven remained

"My Love, my Love
For only thine soul, I plead
May thy eyes never see again if they shalt not see thine beautiful grace
May thy ears never hear again if it be not thine words
May thy mouth never speak again if it be not to thee..."
