Final Poem

She looks out her window
The stars reflect in her eyes
She whispers a wish
As a star wounds the sky

Tears fall down her face
Like rain on a window
Silence echos on the walls

She's dressed in white,
Going to a funeral
Her black shadow's glued to the white wall

Her hand glides across the page
Writing her poetry of the eclipsed heart
"My heart was never whole"
Wants to be remembered by her final poem
It's all that'll be left

She opens the window
The wind blows her hair
Cool moonlight falls on her face
Breath visible in front of her

Thinks of her family,
A family of actors
She's the one with no script

"Heaven declared that I have a duty,
I am no longer needed here.
I have a lonely soul, I must
live with the Angels
and You, I want You to join me soon.'
