The Deepest Trench (Sonnet I wrote for Humanities)
And to my teacher in case she searches this crap up on google and this comes up, yea I'm a student in your class who's posting this SHIT (Yea I can swear all I want on this site..) on a website. I don't plagiarize. ;)
Amazement before my young weary eyes
I hear the roars of the excited crowd
Noise blasting through the concrete walls, it's loud
A place to belong, but time really flies
Eager for something without fragile lies
A form of heaven and I'm on a cloud
Listening to their voices singing aloud
But the hardest part is saying good bye.
One night that was really worth living for
Stuck in the dark without feeling afraid
Only realizing that I miss it more
As my life turns to a different shade.
It's over now, there's still more to come
Because they'll never forget where they come from.
