My Falling Tears

I see the bloodshot eyes,
Following my every move.
Faintly hearing my name being called,
Wanting to hold on dearly to the angel calling to me.

Feels as if something’s always going wrong,
Always walking in the wrong direction,
Sensing someone holding on,
Wanting someone to make it all better.

Feeling a presence,
My tears start falling,
Crashing around me,
My conscience calling the guilty to come home,
Tears falling,
Crashing around me,
My conscience calling the guilty to come home.

The moment died,
No longer screaming,
The visions slowly fading,
Although still hearing a faint calling,
Feeling a need to hold on,
To eliminate his shame.

Feels as if something’s always going wrong,
Always walking in the wrong direction,
Sensing someone holding on,
Wanting someone to make it all better.

Feeling a presence,
My tears start falling,
Crashing around me,
My conscience calling the guilty to come home,
Tears falling,
Crashing around me,
My conscience calling the guilty to come home.

In the battered room I’ve seen so many times,
No more healing of the broken bones,
He’s choking on his last breath,
I’m hoping it never ends,
His world can’t be over again.

Time to go.

A faint calling of my name,
Feeling a need to hold on,
To eliminate his shame.

Feels as if something’s always going wrong,
Always walking in the wrong direction,
Sensing someone holding on,
Wanting someone to make it all better.

Feeling a presence,
My tears start falling,
Crashing around me,
My conscience calling the guilty to come home,
Tears falling,
Crashing around me,
My conscience calling the guilty to come home.

Tears falling,
Crashing around me,
My conscience calling the guilty to come home.
