A Broken Heart

You see me as I am,
Like how you always see anyone.
My looks are almost the same on the outside,
But I am different on the inside.

Even if I am usually angry,
I use it cover up my misery.
It's not because of a person's death,
It's because of a broken heart.

Between the times in 4th through 7th grade,
I was rejected by 3 boys I liked.
They caught my sight by the first look into their eyes,
But they didn't like me, had someone else, or both.

Here I sit in my misery and pain,
Thinking why did I liked them.
But that might be like why bids fly,
Probally because it's the way of life.

"A Broken Heart" is based on the crushes and misery I went trough with 3 boys who are in the same grade I'm in. This was written originally on 6/3/06 by me. Don't let the problem that I went through (which this poem is based on) let you believe that the opposite gender can ruin your love life. Like the old saying goes "Romance is not for everybody who can't handle the heartbreak".
