Man of Her Heart

A hero offered to save her,
A poet serenated,
A builder built a castle with his two hands.
A rich man wined and dined her,
A Villain double crossed her,
and a king had asked her gently for her hand.

But all there were behind those men,
Was a complicated silence and,
a little trace of you two steps behind.

Condescending points of views ask
Had she gone mad from thoughts of you?
Or do you haunt her so intentionally?

Drove her up the wall,
Stood back to watch her fall,
turned on a certain charm
and won her right back in your arms.

May you find your sins concealed
In the eyes of the one you killed -
with a stab to the heart -
your loving capulet.
Then may the thunder pass you,
With souls of love to bless you,
and turn you into a man of her heart.
