Raindrops Like No Ordinary Tear Drops

Raindrops falling from the dark blanket
from up above,
Falling straight onto the surface of
the ground and my face.
Not knowing from tears or the raindrops
dropping down my cheeks,
Standing wet- not knowing from what;
The splashes of the cars or the tears
crying from all the fears.
Walking down the street all soaked from
head to toe,
Looking down on the ground seeing all the
little splashes in the puddles,
And I look up and see you there looking
straight at me.
Looking even more closely to see if I'm not
dreaming; - but I wasn't,
He was there with a big smile on his face.
It hurts to reach you when I'm down,
So hold your breath and hold me till all
my tears from my fears are wiped away.
The raindrops are like no ordinary tear drops,
They're filled with confusion, fears, and a
little empty spot missing to them.
Without you in my life,
My tears aren't joyful,
And my fake smile won't disappear if your not
there to stay with me.
But my last tear,
My first smile;
Was shown up cause you were there and loved me.
