Dearest Everlast

Lonely Everlast,
forgotten and so cold,
she knew her prince charming,
would come and take her soul.

Sitting in a tree, looking out in the dark,
she saw him coming,
he would never miss his mark.

Grinning as always, she made her way down,
Little did she notice,
He was looking at her with a frown.

Hugging her so tightly,
Never letting go,
Chace wished he never had to let her know.

Closing her eyes while in his arms,
she leaned up and kissed him,
never meaning any harm.

Letting go of the girl he loved,
he needed to let her know,
He could only give her away with a mighty shove.

Dissapearing in the darkness,
He left her a note,
she only stood there,
tears welling up in her throat.

Looking down at the letter,
she opened it and read,
hoping things to only get better.

"Lovely Everlast,
your hair so blonde as gold,
you must understand,
you have my heart and can never be sold.

Dearest Everlast,
My father forbids our love together,
Your my one and only,
I promise to make things better.

Dangerous Everlast,
You hold my thoughts at night,
I wish I had you here,
With me in my sight.

My only Everlast,
May your dream come true,
I love you so much,
you don't have a clue.

Beautiful Everlast,
Your eyes shine like the sun,
My love for you is like no other,
it has only begun."

Tears sprang from her eyes and her heart hurt like never before,
She only wished she had her Chace,
Just like there was no door.

She ached to have him,
She needed his love,
She went back to being lonely Everlast,
the last thing in her past.

Poor Everlast.
