Tell Me What You See

Look into my eyes
And tell me what you see.
Because as each tear dries,
Two more are flowing free,
And I need you to see past my disguise
Before I can set myself free.

Seeing memories as I watch the moon rise,
My body shakes with the night's melody.
Hellos blend with good-byes
Just like each and every tree,
As I run from those eyes
That refuse to tell, but forever see.
Always, even when one cries,
The moon and stars are mute company.

They all avoid my eyes
As they tell me what they can see.
What they see are all my lies
That cause this deep misery.
That's why I need you to look through my disguise,
Cause it's about time I set myself free.
