Through My Camera's Eye

I see the world through a different eye,
A world of color, black and white.
Recording memories, thoughts, and feelings,
Many forgotten by friends and family.

I see things through a lens.
I capture each event,
And archive it all away,
Maybe to be remembered one random day.

Little details are bright to me.
Many others do not see,
The hidden secrets of the world:
A hidden smile, or gleaming eye.

The whole picture is in my sight,
Not a single detail is over looked.
I will not miss a little glance,
Or that special wedding dance.

The little things they do,
Will stay within my view.
They're all in clear focus,
Never to be let go.

Recording, saving, sharing,
Every gesture, every laugh,
The camera will always see it all,
I will remember it till I fall.
