What Would We Give?

Who is perfect? What is perfection?
Is it the tall, popular girl afraid to make a connection?
Or is it the smart girl in the corner full of love and affection?
What would she give to be like the popular girl, the fraud?
What would any of us give to be taken back, back to the garden of God?
Where everyone would be perfect
where no one would have to earn respect.
What would we give to like Eve
who was perfect before she ate from that forbidden tree?
Sometimes it seems that perfections can be boring.
So I've written this poem to give all a good warning.
Perfection is nice but cannot be acheived.
Some still strive for it, who are young and naive.
It is good be an original and not just a copy.
Because life isn't worth living if it isn't a little choppy.
Dare to be daring. Take a chance.
Don't go through life as if in a trance.
Meet new people, let people meet you.
'Cause there isn't anything better than being true to you.
